Sharna Meinertz is a descendant of Juranang and a granddaughter of Woolber and Banyup on her father’s side (Trevor Lawrence). With over 30 years of experience in the financial industry, both in Australia and the UK, she now collaborates with First Nations Boards to enhance financial capability through investment strategies.

Expert Director
Andrew is an experienced Chair and Independent Director who brings together board governance expertise with a proven track record of negotiating multi-million dollar agreements, steering complex joint ventures and strengthening organisations from the boardroom to the frontline.
With a strong record across the not-for-profit and commercial sectors, Andrew's previous experience working with Aboriginal and Islander peoples across Northern Australia will stand him in good stead working with Yued.

Expert Director
Darren served as a member of the Legislative Council representing the Agricultural Region in the Parliament of Western Australia for 12 years from 2013 to 2025.
His roles included Parliamentary Secretary for Regional Development; Agriculture and Food, State Development, Ports, Jobs and Trade, Hydrogen Industry, Racing and Gaming, Environment and Energy during the McGowan and Cook Governments.
Darren chose not to contest the 2025 election and has returned to the family farm at Jennacubbine.
Prior to entering parliament, Darren served as Chair of the Wheatbelt Development Commission and the Avon Community Development Foundation. He is very keen to work with Yued to explore opportunities in agriculture and renewable energy.
Darren has long-standing ties to Yued families and an abiding interest in working with Aboriginal Western Australians to use economic development as a tool to healthier and happier lives.
Cultural Advice Committee
The cultural advice committee (CAC) is made up of Elders who consider matters relevant to culture, and make decisions to promote and protect our cultural interests.
The female members of the cultural advice committee are: Diane Yappo (1 year term), Victoria Taufoou (Moody) and Sandra Ryder (2 year term), Diane Mippy and Cheryl Chipper (3 year term).
The male members of the cultural advice committee are: Colin Headland and Rodney Jospeh (1 year term), Noel Yates and Darryl Indich (2 year term), Graham Ryder and Michael Drayton (3 year team).
