Member Director Casual Vacancy – Call for expressions of interest (EOI)

Earlier this year Yued Aboriginal Corporation (YAC) called for expressions of interest for members who are eligible to be member directors of the corporation to stand for election. In order to be eligible a member must meet the requirements of rule 8.2.2 of the YAC Rule Book (included in the document below).

Three (3) eligible members nominated for four (4) positions that become vacant at the Annual General Meeting. This means that a casual vacancy will arise on 16 November 2025.

The Yued board has opened EOI for eligible members to fill this vacancy.

Process to fill this casual vacancy:

  • 14 November: Expressions of interest due

  • November: Expressions of interest considered by Noongar Nominations Committee for eligibility

  • November: Noongar Nominations Committee sends list of eligible candidates to Yued Aboriginal Corporation board

  • 21 November: Yued Aboriginal Corporation board selects candidate
