Heritage Act

The State Government has announced its decision to repeal the Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Act 2021 and restore the Aboriginal Cultural Heritage Act of 1972, with amendments.

No timeframe for the repeal has been provided.

The Yued Aboriginal Corporation (YAC) will continue to advocate on behalf of Members on this important issue and will provide updates as information is forthcoming.
